I would suggest:
2. Any questions from the interested party are directed to Patrick
Masson or Richard Fontana.
[Perhaps we can also note that we may proactively recruit open source
community organizations to be Affiliates.]
3. If interested, the party completes the Affiliate
Application. and submits it to Patrick Masson.
The OSI's
request contact(s) e-mail and adds to [...]
The OSI's obtains logo (sometimes needs an agreement)
The OSI's asks if they need a quote for a press release
The OSI's adds to Affiliates page
The OSI's adds to logo graphic
The OSI's posts announcement on opensource.org
-> I think all this should be 'General Manager' with me being backup or
available for consultation - may not be necessary to mention that. (But
if you disagree with that, that is important to know.
The one thing that's missing here is the step of approval of the
Affiliate on the OSI side (between 3 and 4). I think we could just say
If the Affiliate membership is approved by the OSI Board or its
delegate, the following steps (4-9) are taken with the coordination
of the General Manager
