Affiliate Lead Conversion

Once a lead for the OSI Affiliate Program has been identified, please undertake the following steps;

(NOTE: if you do not wish to compete the following, please send a email introducing the OSI General Manager to the prospective affiliate organization and prospective affiliate contact/representative).

  1. Before adding any new information (individuals or organizations), please review the table below as we may already have contacts with the person or organization.
  2. Create a "Contact" in CiviCRM.
    1. Log into CiviCM (https://opensource.org/user/)
      You will need your OSI Drupal account credentials
    2. Before creating a new contact for the organization, or the person you are working with from the organization, please search to see if an existing record exists. Individuals may have multiple relationships with the OSI. For example, they may be an Individual Member, and then later reach out as part of a potential Affiliate Member.
      You may enter the email, or name for the individual in the "Search" field at the top of the CiviCRM page.
      You may enter the name of the organization in the "Search" field at the top of the CiviCRM page.
      1. If a record already exists for the individual, please update it with any information related to the organization they are representing. For example, your contact may have a personal email for their Individual Membership, but use their organizational email for Affiliate Member related communications.
