I started reading, and then saw that the first two items are related to business. This seems incongruous with my understanding of open works. It seems like just another attempt by the OSI to make free licenses more appealing to corporations. "FLOW freedoms and methods" appears a few times, but I can't find a simple list of what those might be.

Mink3620, Thanks for your comments. Sorry for the delay in replying.
RE: "saw that the first two items are related to business. This seems incongruous with my understanding of open works."
From the inception of The Open Source Definition, one of its core criteria has been: "No Discrimination Against Fields of Endeavor". We trust that the FLOW Syllabus communicates how the free/libre/open way is suited to for-profit, not-for-profit, governmental and academic entities, as well as to informal individuals and communities.

Yes, but not "more appealing" in a superficial promotional sense, rather "more understood" in a pragmatic management sense. And not only amongst corporations.

To make the two easier to notice, links have now been placed in the first section on the page "About FLOW and RENT Relationships"
http://osi.xwiki.com/bin/Projects/About+FLOW+and+RENT+Relationships This now contains links to the Free Software Definition (freedoms) https://gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.html and the Open Source Definition (methods) http://opensource.org/osd-annotated
