    All,

This sounds like a nice bit of work. But I'll admit I am a bit confused as there seems to be quite a few discussions around licensing tools and I am not sure if these are independent works or if there is some thread between them that the OSI is supporting (or maybe they are all tightly integrated/aligned and I am just clueless).

So, just for my own clarification can someone help me understand the relationships (if any) related to  I have heard discussions on:

    • Git Hub's Choose a License at http://choosealicense.com/ - While developed independently of any OSI contributions we did work with them after release to help define "Open Source" to align with the OSI's OSD. How are we managing this relationship moving forward?
    • tl;dr's open source license look up at http://www.tldrlegal.com - I believe this group approached the OSI initially when the project started and again recently to help manage the project.
    • Those listed on this page
    • The work with PROSE Amanda Brock referenced in relationship to Joseph Potvin's Working Groups.

I'm not looking for or applying any value judgment to any of these efforts, my interests are around coordination of OSI resources.

Again, sorry for being the noob, thanks,
    Patrick

I suggest that the answer comes down to: Which of the auto-comparison apps is making use of RDF or XrML? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rights_Expression_Language
