Bruno made an interesting comment in response to a membership information request. The prospective member was looking to join the OSI in order to gain access to what he assumed was a members-only area with access to restricted information or services. Bruno pointed out that because our content is open we should highlight the reasons for (supporting our efforts) and value of memberships (benefits). I think this fits into the messaging efforts of the Awareness WG.
