DRAFT - Educators Committee Terms of Reference
The work of the Education Committee is in support of the Open Source Initiative, Management Education Working Group (OSI-EDU-WG), whose charter is found at http://osi.xwiki.com/bin/Projects/Charter-OSI-EDU-WG-2014-2015.
1. Purpose
The purpose of the Education Committee is to support and advance the ongoing development of the Free, Libre, and Open Works (FLOW) project. For example by
- raising awareness about FLOW within the education community.
- advocating for the advancement and inclusion of FLOW topics as appropriate.
- engaging in the conversation of FLOW and educational practice.
2. Term
This Terms of Reference is effective from 09/01/14 and will be ongoing until terminated by agreement of participants.
3. Membership
Membership is open and voluntary.

4. Roles of Committee Participants
Meetings
Meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month at:

Engagement/Participation
Fulfilling its purpose, the Education Committee will engage in:
- Promotion of the FLOW project and FLOW Syllabus use.
- Introduce new potential participants to the FLOW community and materials.
- Raise awareness of the project and materials.
- Identification, curation, and occasional creation of
- new content,
- syllabi of courses using the FLOW Syllabus,
- learning designs and sequences supporting instruction.
